Beyond the Share
Members are always welcome to visit the farm. We hope our members will come to feel truly connected with the origin of their food. To that end we hold two great events each year for members, a garlic-tasting party in August and a pumpkin pick and carve festival in October. In between there are 'work' days (most popular is a potato dig!) that anyone can attend if they are interested.
Outside the Box
In addition to our CSA program, we offer the following products to members and non-members:
• Our honey comes from our own beehives, which we keep for pollination.
• Pesto is a condiment made with our own garlic and several different herbs. We sell our pestos frozen, without preservatives to alter the taste. Sweet basil pesto is always available. We also have a sage pesto, parsley pesto, and cilantro peanut pesto in season.
• Our cut flowers are field grown and selected for long-lasting bouquets. We offer a limited number of 10-week flower shares each season. Please contact us if interested.
• We offer mixed brown and blue egg shares through a partner farm, Shady Blue Acres. Please contact us if interested.
Members and non-members can order at any time, or see us in downtown Madison on the Square at the Saturday morning Farmers' Market.
